Yeah, Shannon, attempted jumpsuit buying could make for a pretty horrifying changeroom experience–at least overalls are adjustable.

When I see people wearing leggings I know they didn’t pick their own clothes (or were even around) in the 80’s.

I’m all for overalls but jumpsuits are a disaster waiting to happen. How often can you find pants or a shirt that fit perfectly? Not often enough in my book. Add the complication of those garments literally sewn together, still fit and be at all comfortable? I’m not convinced.

Thanks, Erika, for reminding us that the catsuit is due for a reappearance. Really, we’re halfway there given the popularity leggings have assumed–for right or wrong–the last few seasons.

This is just the fashion world’s way of making fun of us. I wore a ‘bodysuit’ in high school – 13 years and almost as many sizes ago – you know when those crochet sweaters were all the rage. It was a mistake then, it’s a bigger mistake now. Overalls…now THAT is an idea.

My fashion sense is so keen I wasn’t sure what a jumpsuit would look like. Damn, I was hoping for something more like my fave pre-teen outfit – denim overalls! Now that’s a utility garment!
