The conversation over at My Blahg is rather jarring, isn&#039;t it? On the one hand I can see how some people can think these stereotypes still exist, but I cannot see how anyone can agree that they should still be propogated. 

I did get a kick out of &#039;boys are heroes&#039;/&#039;girls are heroines&#039; instead of &#039;girls are damsels in distress&#039;. I&#039;m sure that was considered progressive at the time.</description>
