Thank you for your opinion but I would have to disagree 100% with you. Transforming shelters for women and children is my passion and my calling. If we continue with ”that’s good enough for YOU but not for me” the world is never going to change. Many women living in shelters have never been brought up to believe they deserve to feel precious or anything beautiful. My non-profit is NOT about the basic needs we are about the frosting on the cake. Helping women and children realize they are worthy and deserve everything their heart truly desires.

I am glad you came around to the idea that these makeovers for shelters are a good thing and give dignity to those residents , and lift their spirits during a difficult time and does give them a cornerstone to build again with a strong foundation.

Our surrounds impact our lives and I am following in the footsteps of Terry Grahl of Enchanted Makeovers in my surrounding communties. What Terry has seen with her shelter makeovers are that women who would not get help before because of the decor/ environment of shelters are now coming in and getting the help they need and can feel good about the experience.
