Buy estradiol, According to a study published yesterday, Toronto teenagers want more access to sex education. The media are reporting this story as if it's honest-to-goodness news, Nevada NV Nev. , Tennessee TN Tenn. , but I'm kind of wondering whether anyone is actually surprised at the findings of the Toronto Teen Survey, which was conducted by Planned Parenthood Toronto in conjunction with York University, köpa estradiol online, Comprare estradiol sconto, the University of Toronto, Wilfred Laurier University, estradiol, Where to buy estradiol, and Toronto Public Health. I'm sure community groups that deal with teen health and sex education, New Hampshire NH N.H. , Arkansas AR Ark. , such as Planned Parenthood or Head and Hands, are more than ready to yell out a huge "I told you so" to governments and boards of education that have been slowly hacking away at sex ed classes in public schools, comprar estradiol de descuento. Are these teens who have indicated a subpar understanding of sexual health going to get more information. Or are governments and school boards going to pretend the study doesn't exist. I suppose we'll have to wait and see what happens, but my guess is that the sex ed battle has just barely begun.

Perhaps, Québec eliminated only last year sex ed classes, but what gets taught in those classes depend on the teacher. I went to a private Catholic high school and my teacher just wasn’t confortable teaching sex education because he did not believe in any kind of contraception (reason why his wife had had 8 kids in 15 years), so instead we learned about values and human rights. The only sex education I have ever had was on ITS where they showed images of chlamedya, gonnorhea and the like on a big screen in the auditorium. I was 13/14 and it turned me off sex, genital warts after lunch time is not that great looking!
I think that community organisations are already doing the bulk of sex education, but they should be going in the schools because teachers may not feel confortable teaching or feel they don’t know enough, but students should learn regardless of that.
Karine, you make an excellent point! I don’t necessarily think that teachers need to be responsible for teaching sex ed, especially if, as you mention, some teachers may not have the knowledge or feel comfortable teaching the subject. I can’t remember which news source reported this, but I read somewhere that teens actually would prefer receiving sexual education from doctors, nurses, or sex ed counselors. Why not invite professionals to give guest lectures on these topics? I’m sure community organizations that already provide sex ed to the public would be more than thrilled to be invited into classrooms across the country. Thanks for your comment!
